Group Experiences for Business & Pleasure

Sharing an experience together deepens relationships, enhances a team’s celebration of work well done, and highlights a visit to Austin for friends traveling in from all parts of the world.

Tour Description:

This is an example of a cycling & culinary experience created as a gift from the company to a successful team: The tour begins at or near the company headquarters.  From there, we travel west to experience the edge of the hill country and the flatness of the blackland prairie.  We see and climb about on a gallery for street art, cycle in a dirt bike park, explore South Austin and have a private tour of an artist’s three-story chalet.  Moving from city streets, we cycle the hike and bike trail around the lake to visit an entertainment district.  The visual of this historic district is a focused opportunity to see how Austin has changed in the last 10+ years.  The experience includes lunch at the premier food truck park to eat Austin-style.

Another example is an experience created for friends visiting to support their college football team as they try to win a football game in the UT football stadium. The experience for them included a UT student as a pathfinder who immersed them in stories of lore and history of Austin and UT.

Tour Review

“Group tour was fantastic and local”

I contacted Deaton and she replied immediately even though I contacted her only a week in advance . A group of 14 Cal fans were all going to Austin for the UT game. We wanted to see Austin like a local but also spend time outdoors. This tour was well thought out for our large group. Deaton took all the personal details ahead of time. When we met at the bike shop the bikes were ready with names assigned and helmets waiting. At the end of our 3 hour tour she had cool wet cloths waiting to refresh us. Jacob was a fun guide even when we quizzed him. Saw the capitol, the Campus, Bevo and some food trucks. Check out the website for photos of our gang. Thanks Deaton and Jacob great job.
